From working around construction noise to helping travelers navigate changes, your efforts over the last few years have been a big part of making the new PDX.
Who: Come celebrate alongside your fellow PDX People who, with help from thousands of locals — including the builders, the foresters, and yes, a few doughnut chefs — made PDX the local-est airport yet. Please wear your PDX badge or bring proof PDX employment to attend.
When: Sunday, Aug. 4, 9 a.m. to noon and Friday, Aug. 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Let us know if you're coming by registering for one of the days. This helps us know how much food and fun to provide!
- This is an open house, so you can stop in any time during the event hours.
What: Party in the new main terminal, inspired by Pacific Northwest nature, designed by local architects, and built using responsibly sourced local timber.
- Food, swag and fun — enjoy something to eat, a photo booth and some exclusive swag to commemorate the moment.
- Win a basket of goodies — prize drawings for gift baskets from the new concessions opening at PDX in the coming months.
- Take a shoe selfie if you feel like it — the old-school carpet is coming back! Yeah, we all kinda missed it.
Where: Enter at the door into the new main terminal space located on the south side of the ticket lobby, near the Alaska ticket counters.
