Be Knowledgeable: Lost & Found

You’re walking down Concourse B when you stumble across a pair of prescription glasses on the ground. Do you know what to do next? If you said, “Take them to Lost and Found,” you’d be right!

Currently, the Lost and Found is on floor 1 of the short-term parking garage. To get there, use the south tunnel, and take the elk elevators and go to the transportation plaza on Level 1. When you exit the elevators, turn left and go through the doors; Lost and Found will be the first office you see on the south side.

If you have a lost item, there are a few options for routing the item to Lost and Found – whichever option is closest to you is the best choice. During open hours, you can bring found items to the office. You can also bring items to the information booths in baggage claim (if they are staffed) or use a drop box. Drop boxes are in the following locations:

  1. In baggage claim, behind the desk at both the south and north information booths
  2. In north baggage claim, near carousel 9
  3. By the B/C and D/E TSA supervisor desks
  4. On Concourse B, near the elevators/gate B6
  5. On Concourse C near Henry’s Tavern
  6. On Concourse D near gate D5
  7. On Concourse E near gates E7 and E8
  8. Outside the new L&F office

Items put in the drop boxes will eventually go to Lost and Found, but if the lost item is essential – think wallet, ID, medical supplies, keys, cell phone or baby strollers – call the PDX Communications Center at 503.460.4747 and let them know an essential item is in the drop box.

Lost and Found’s open hours are listed online and there’s a place on the Lost and Found site where people can submit an inquiry about missing items – this is the best place to start if you or a visitor has lost an item at PDX.
