The Blue Lightning Initiative (BLI), led by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, is an element of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Blue Campaign. BLI trains aviation industry personnel to identify potential traffickers and human trafficking victims, and to report their suspicions to federal law enforcement.

The PDX People program is hosting three events to help inform PDX employees about the BLI and how to help support the initiatives goals. At this event you'll have the opportunity to learn important information AND win prizes for you efforts. 

Event times:

• 10 - 11 a.m. by the Alaska baggage service office
• 11:30 a .m. - 12:30 p.m. at the rental car center
• 1 - 2 p.m. near the D/E security checkpoint bypass door
