Supported by a dedicated team of Port of Portland employees, the PDX Operation Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) team is focused on the transition from PDX Next construction to new main terminal operations.

Their work includes creating a detailed transition plan, testing new systems and introducing employees to the space. Basically, this team is dedicated to ensuring everything goes well on Day 1 and beyond!

Over the next few months, you’ll hear more about the work the ORAT team is doing to ensure everything’s ready to go in May 2024. Be on the lookout for interactive activities and events, all aimed at preparing you for the new space.
